WGF Announces 2013 Arizona School Garden Grant

Fifty K – 12 Schools to Receive $1,500 Each

Western Growers Foundation (WGF) is pleased to announce the 2013 Arizona Edible School Garden Grant. This grant is open to all K-12 Arizona schools. Fifty schools will receive $1,500 each to create and sustain their fruit and vegetable gardens.

These competitive garden grants will be awarded to schools that can demonstrate how they will use garden-enhanced education to teach students where their food comes from and the important of good nutrition.

WGF Announces Child Care Nutrition Garden Grant

Western Growers Foundation (WGF) is working with the California Department of Education (CDE), Nutrition Services Division (NSD) to provide 100 garden grants of $1,000 each to eligible child care centers or preschools participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
